What gymeow is

gymeow is workout logging over text. You text your workout to the gymeow number, it gets logged, and it shows up on the feeds of the teams you've joined. The website is where you manage your profile and teams.

Your account

Accounts are tied to a phone number and verified by a one-time code. Keep control of your number — anyone who can receive texts at it can sign in as you. You're responsible for activity on your account.

Texting

gymeow texts you in response to your messages, plus a few service messages: sign-in codes, a welcome text, team-invite heads-ups, and (if you leave them on) notifications when a teammate logs a workout. You can turn teammate notifications off in Settings, and you can stop texting the number at any time.

Your content

Your workout logs are yours. By logging to a team you let gymeow store your logs and show them — along with your username and profile picture — to that team, and on the team's public page if its admins turn the public feed on. Team admins can remove logs from their team's feed.

Don't use gymeow to post anything unlawful, abusive, or impersonating someone else, and don't spam, scrape, or interfere with the service.

Teams

Team admins control invites, approve join requests, set member roles, and choose whether the team's feed is public. Joining a team shares your username, profile picture, and workout activity with its members.

Group content

Team feeds and teammate texts relay what your team's members post. That content comes from them, not from gymeow — whether you broadcast your workouts to a group or opt in to hearing about theirs, we're not responsible for what members send to you or your group.

We screen logs and profile pictures with automated moderation before they reach a team, but no screening is perfect and it isn't a guarantee. If something crosses a line: team admins can remove logs from their feed, you can turn teammate texts off in Settings, and you can leave a team at any time.

Ending things

You can stop using gymeow whenever you like. We may suspend or remove accounts that break these terms or abuse the service.

Disclaimers

gymeow is provided as-is, without warranties of any kind. It's a logging tool, not medical or fitness advice. To the maximum extent permitted by law, gymeow isn't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

Changes

We may update these terms as gymeow evolves. If we make material changes, we'll note the new date here. Continuing to use gymeow after a change means you accept the updated terms.
